SUMMER READING PROGRAM Details:
1) How do I participate?
Use the images above to download the READsquared app from Apple or Google.
If you don’t have online access, speak to the staff at the library.
2) Are there incentives and prizes?
Everyone who registers wins a free book! Please come to the library and choose a favorite book.
Each hour read earns 1 ticket towards different prize drawings. The drawing for these prizes will take place on July 29, 2025.
All who complete the program will receive a choice of completion awards.
The first 25 youth finishers (aged 0-16) will earn a yard sign to show you completed the Summer Reading Program!
Calling all Super Readers: LOVE to read a LOT? We have a special drawing for those who read more than 25 hours this summer.
3) What are the important dates?
Registration opens on June 1st; minutes may be logged beginning Monday, June 9th through Saturday, July 26th.
Submit all reading logs and all earned tickets for prize drawings by Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
Winners will be notified by Tuesday, July 29th. Unclaimed prizes will be given to another winner after August 10th.
